Hello!
I’m Ishan. I’m a Software Engineer at Google and a recent USC Master's grad. My fascination with technology began early - I wrote my first "Hello World" in C at age 9, and by 13, I had achieved the milestone of becoming the Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional for Windows 7.

Over the years, my curiosity evolved into a deep passion for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. From deploying custom EfficientDet models on smartphones for my college Robocon team, to architecting multi-threaded inference pipelines for international clients, I love building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.
Beyond the code, I'm a community builder at heart. I co-founded the Club of Developers & Engineers (CODE), serving as President for two years where I taught Machine Learning to juniors and led industry collaborations. Whether it's training neural networks, exploring novel optimization algorithms, or mentoring the next generation of engineers, I'm always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what's possible.

The Builder
I've always loved taking things apart and building them back better. From writing my first C program at age 9 to building a 2-axis gimbal from scratch, that tinkerer's mindset now drives how I architect large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems at Google.
The AI Explorer
Intrigued by how machines interpret the world. At USC, I specialized in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. My favorite moments include deploying live EfficientDet models on phones for college Robocon and optimizing multi-threaded AI pipelines for industry clients.
The Researcher
I love finding elegant optimization algorithms for complex multi-objective challenges. I've presented work on Cohort Intelligence for asset management and I'm a published author in the Springer LNEE book series covering deep learning reviews.
The Mentor
Community is everything. I co-founded and served as President of my college's engineering club (CODE), where I spent two years teaching Machine Learning to juniors. I'm also deeply passionate about mentoring high school students in FIRST Robotics.
